Islamic Work Is a Slow and Steady Process

QAS SALAAMU ALAYKUM BISMILLAH HIRRAHMA NIR RAHEEM I PRAY THAT THIS NOTE FINDS YOU IN THE BEST OF IMAN AND HEALTH... BROTHER LETS CONTINUE TO MAKE DUA TO ALLAH, THAT WE CAN TRULY JOIN TOGETHER AS ONE UMMAH LIVING IN AN ISLAMIC STATE. INSHA ALLAH WE NEED TO FIND A COMMON GROUND AND MEETING PLACE WHERE WE AS MUSLIMS CAN HAVE A CENTRAL LOCATION TO DISCUSS THIS FOCUS... IT WILL TAKE BROTHERS AND SISTERS WHO TRULY LOVE ALLAH AND WANT TO ESTABLISH OUR FEET FIRMLY BY THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH... TALKING TO EACH OTHER, NOT LOOKING DOWN ON EACH OTHER BUT INSTILLING TAWHID AND CHARACTER FIRST..

PLEASE CONTINUE TO MAKE DUA TO ALLAH, AND LETS US THE RESOURCES HE HAS GIVEN US TO HAVE A CENTRAL MEETING WHERE OUR GOALS AND ISSUES CAN BE DISCUSS IN ISLAM AND WHOMEVER DOES NOT WANT TO COME, WE CAN STILL TRY AND ESTABLISH A MEETING PLACE WHERE WE CAN FOCUS ON ALLAH AND OUR UMMAH..

AS SALAAMU ALAYKUM\ ALHAMDILIAH\ I PRAY THAT ALLAH WILL BRING TOGETHER THE PEOPLE OF KNOWLEDGE SO THAT WE CAN HAVE A MEETING AND TRY AND ELECT A AMIR...

AAssalaamu Alaykum wa Rahamatullaah, Bismillaahi walĥamdulillaahi waŝŝalaatu wassalaamu ‘alaa rasoolillaahi

Dear Sister, Jazaakillaahu Khairan for your Du'aas and good suggestions for action.

You are right that the efforts must be well-planned, well organized, with the spirit of mutual respect and brotherhood, etc. And it all starts with embarking on a program of continuous personal improvement where we try to excel in our morals, ethics, dealings and behaviour with a deep and sincere love for Allaah and for the attainment of His pleasure. This is a very personal goal to be the best human being in every aspect of human personality, attaining this excellence through a very personal relationship with Allaah swt.

For collective goal, we must work together to educate people about the true Islam and its beauty and to attract them to adopt it as their complete way of life. That must be our priority and plan of action. It is very important to understand that our collective goals of establishing an ideal peaceful and just society is possible only when a great majority of people understand it, want it and love to have it. This is a gradual democratic process. For that purpose, we have to work hard to educate people, to win their hearts and minds so that they freely, willingly, happily and lovingly adopt Islam and start dedicating themselves to both the individual and collective Islamic goals of excellence. That is a painstakingly slow work that needs lots of patience, steadfastness and steady efforts. It is like building a high rise building brick by brick. In our case, we will have to find the bricks (persons) who are willing to become part of the structure, educate them, clean them (purification of self -- thoughts, actions and dealings, everything) and fit them at the appropriate place in the structure just like other socio-political organizations.

While working hard at taking the message of Islam to people, we must never lose sight of the personal dimension of the Islamic objective of excellence. That goal must always be in our minds, and we must keep moving towards that goal through continuous process of self improvement one step at a time slowly but steadily, while reaching out to people with the message of peace (Islam) at the same time.

If we share the vision of this slow and steady democratic process for the attainment of the individual and collective goals of excellence, yes, we must get together, get organized and start working under the direction of an Ameer who is dedicated to this constructive work.

May Allaah bless you and may Allaah give us all wisdom and foresight to dedicate our abilities and energies for the achievement of personal and collective goals of goodness. But remember there are no shortcuts except building excellence person by person – brick by brick, through an educational process of changing hearts and minds of people.
